About NCPD Federal Credit Union

NCPD Federal Credit Union was federally chartered in 1940. It is the goal of the Board of Directors and staff to provide superior financial services to those in law enforcement, and their families, serving Nassau County. We offer high dividend rates on savings and low interest rates on loans. The products and services we provide to our members are almost all free of fees and surcharges. Additionally, we offer the latest electronic services combined with the best security solutions. As of June 30, 2018, NCPD Federal Credit Union serves 15,609 members and has over $736 million in assets.

Who Can Join:

  • Membership at NCPD Federal Credit Union is available for employees of federal, state, county, and municipal agencies or departments engaged in the police protection industry who work in Nassau County, New York

NCPD FCU Scholarship

When students pursue a college degree, they make a powerful decision to invest in their future. NCPD Federal Credit Union is opening doors for students by offering THREE $2,500 SCHOLARSHIPS.

To qualify*, students must:

  • Be a credit union member with their own account
  • Be an incoming freshman to an accredited two or four year college or university as a full-time student

Applying is easy. Pick up a scholarship entry form at any NCPD FCU location in the Spring of 2020. A drawing will be held and THREE $2,500 SCHOLARSHIPS will be awarded to qualified students in May 2020.

*Official Rules: Students must be a credit union member with their own account. Account must be established in the student's name before or at the time the entry form is submitted. Student must be an incoming freshman to an accredited two or four year College or University as a full-time student. There is no age requirement for a college freshman. Student's household members must be in good standing with the credit union. One entry form per person. NCPD Federal Credit Union Officials, Employees, Volunteers and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. The first three (3) names randomly drawn will each win a $2,500 Award. Students must present proof of enrollment prior to granting of Award. Acceptance of the Scholarship shall constitute winner's consent for NCPD Federal Credit Union to use winner's name and photograph for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation. All winners will be notified and a list of recipients will be published in the NCPD Federal Credit Union Quarterly newsletter, on the NCPD FCU website, as well as displayed in our branch offices.
