Who Can Join

A federal credit union may only serve those persons within its field of membership, as granted by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Membership in the NCPD Federal Credit Union is limited to employees of federal, state, county, and municipal agencies or departments engaged in the police protection industry who work in Nassau County, New York.

Immediate family members of these employees are also eligible to join and may enjoy all the benefits of membership for life. Also included are spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union, persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment, and organizations of such persons.
